Old demo opinion.

Post by ancient doctor »

I 1st found out for the game from the old demo(available outside Matrix).I really liked it maybe a little more from the other game of the period of which i also tried the demo at the same time.
Dont get me wrong i liked them both even thought they are different but this one seemed little better.
I did have a problem(with the demo)to earn even a slight british victory,in the end there always a message that in the long term i will loose no matter what progress i have made, maybe i was not good enought after all.
In any case congrats because the game looks very nice. Its also very promising for the next one,a civil war game IIRC.
BTW i have a small request for the next game. Please allow replacements to be transformed into new units and that if the player wish allow the units(brigades?)to have the max number of subunits(elements?-regiments or companies?)if possible.

A general question also.I dont know how editable this or the next game are-will be.By editable i mean change rank/attributes of generals,stats/experience of units etc.

Thanks for the feedback!

I advise you to try the new demo if you are unsure you want to buy the game, the new demo features one year of the full campaign, and plays really differently from the old one.

The game is very moddable, we have published modding doc on our official forum ( ageod.com ), you can change nearly anything, and can create new scenarios.

As for our 2nd game, yes you can expect many additions. You are welcome to discuss it in our official forum too, we published more than a score of features on it, including several screenshots.
