All sieges have ended and my cities are safe.

I see he gets the Ironclad upgrade which probally means he will be buildings some ironclads in the future, maybe i can use my 300+ surplus of iron to build my own ironclads [X(]

A few small battles take place, one of which i win!!!!!!!!!

For the first time since the first turn of the game i win a battle, though i lose more men its a start.

Battle is advoided in Kenawha several times thus saving the army that's there intill i can move them out after winter is over.

Infantry units continue to be disbanded from low strength.  Not much i can do about that at the moment since i am putting ever many I get as a replacement into the AoP and my western army.  I think i am loseing units in Missiori and from the army in Kenawha.

The most exciting news for the turn is Sherman is finally avairable for me to use.  I demote Gregg down to 1 star and will upgrade Sherman to 4 stars at the end of the turn.

Also notice how reinforcements required continues to drop from turn to turn.

Here's a shot of the governers that support me and what they support in.  Looks like a pretty good listing as far as i can tell.  The bonus in research is a huge boost expecially the Logistical boost.

I've decided to move the AoP back to Maryland and place several of the units in the forts in the hops that there supply will increase.  Someone please tell me if this will help in any way.  I'm desperate for a way to increase there supply level as i fear that is the reason i am loseing so many battles.

And finally we promote Mr.Sherman to 4 stars.  Lets see if we can narrow the gap between generals that is so obvious now.

I'm acturally feeling alot better about this game now. I've stopped his attacks in Kentucy thus saving my main source of horses for the time, I'm gaining 9,000 troops in replacements a turn plus another 500 that will come from a camp that will finish next turn and when i get the camp upgrade i will be getting some 12k or 13k troops a turn. Lets see him match that.

He did take Pittsburgh which is not too bad. I will build up the AoP before I plan on taking it back. He's not gaining a whole lot from the city, something like 4 gold and 5 iron since production is half because i still control the Capital.

I really need a way to get the supply level of my units back up from 0-1. I hope putting them in forts will increase the supply level and i am not wasteing my time.

My navy still has complete controll of the sea's but I have to start watching out for ironclads knowing what upgrade he choise.

Please post feedback on what i am doing wrong here and how i can correct it, thank you. [&o]

I dont have the game yet[:@](what is matrix doing in terms of physical shipment of this game in particular BTW?)

Ok from what i have seen in order to increase the supply of units you have to put in a higher supply priority this will make these units to receive more replacements also which it might be good if they are very manpower depleted.Of cource it will cost you money(gold/$/yen/rubbles/drahmas or whatever currency you have [:D])
I guess having them in a city area with railroads and so on might also be good but that i dont know for sure since I DONT HAVE THE GAME[:@](Matrix please do something so that i might get a physical copy of it since the DSL connection that i have sucks.[:(])

Can anyone tell me how to increase the supplies that each of my units have.  Most of my units have 2 or 3 supply but alot of them are stuck at 0 and dose not seem to increase.

As Erik suggested, Supply Priority is the key to resupplying your units. The easiest way to manage it is from the Military Asvisor screen. I'll attach a screenie from my AAR.

See the supply column? The number is the supply level. You'll see, for example, that the 19th division has a supply level of 8 - so they're in good shape. In the parenthasis is the supply priority. It can be set as follows:

0 = No resupply (just forage)
- = Low Priority (the default value)
N = Normal Priority
+ = High Priority

The 19th division, with their 8 supply is set to 0. They are in good shape so I have lowered their priority. Looking at the 18th division on the other hand, you'll see their supply is down to 4, so I have them set to Normal priority. I've upgraded their supply. Supply priority is set at the container level. You can set it for an army and it will apply to every container below that army or you can set it for each invididual division (which is what I typically do).

The key to remember is that supplying your armies is EXPENSIVE! Change the supply priority of an entire army and then go back to the nation screen and see what it does to your support costs. Basically, you want to keep supply costs down for armies that are near full supply and unlikely to see significant action. But supply has a HUGE impact on your battle results. IMO supply is more important than generals. If your supply levels are low, you'll lose pretty much every battle you fight. In other words, there is a reason why supply is so expensive - because it is so very very important.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

I just realized why my screenshots were scrolling down, its because i use the ctrl key to capture the image and the ctrl key must scroll the menu down, i'll fix that.

Another camp, 2 RR stations, a mint, and a horse farm come online.

Battle is avoided in Kenawha 6 times this turn!.  I'm getting very lucky with that army since most of them are at 0 supplies and if they are involved in a battle it is likely the entire army will be destroyed.  I’m going to raise the supply priority for this army to high after this turn thanks to the information obtained from several members on these boards.

Sherman has been promoted to command of the AoP and has started teaching units new skills.

Another battalion is lost due to strength, and I lose the second division because it is empty.

I just want to show you guys this.  I'm getting 53 iron from Harrisburg out of my total of 56 for the turn.  His AnV was but one provience away from attacking Harrisburg and I dont believe the AoP could have stopped them at the time.  thankfully he turned back.  [&o]

In the east the AoP is split up between the forts and cities of Maryland sitting tight increaseing their supply count which has increased to 4 or 5 for all of the units in the forts and cities.  It appears to be a very effective way of increaseing supply for units without having to spend money on it.

In the mean time his AnV got stuck in a snow storm which should prevent movement this turn and god willing the next.  Giving me all the move time to get my units resupplied and ready for a fight.

In the west I've sent a division to recapture the areas of Kentucky that I lost last year while the rest of the army stays where it is to increase supplys.

In the far west I'm pulling the army back into Missouri back to my rail lines from which i can move it all the way to Kentucky with my large rail movement or leave it where it is.
