What AI can do for me?

Post by felixckw »

I am considering to buy the game War in the Pacific, and want to know if I can let AI handle things like politics or production for me? Thanks.

No politics here. Production is only a factor for the Japanese, and it can (in theory) take care of itself. The AI doesn't handle it, as such. It just chugs along with what it's been given in the scenario.

The AI plays the Scenarios reasonably well, and the AI weapons will still kick your arse if you are stupid.

It plays the opening year-18 months reasonably well. But then cant handle the variables you create by your actions. If you play historically its good for another 6 mths.

Its well worth the purchase price, plus access to the mods here makes it 100 games in one.

I have played UV, and just wonder how much harder WiP is. Will there be too many new factors for me to handle?

It's a matter of time Your personal time. Since you will need to micromanage everything[;)] Although Nik says he let's auto convoy supply rear bases, everybody here can remember a problem caused by not overseeing the AI. So be prepared to do to everything.[:'(]

No. Easy < Historical < Hard < Very Hard.

As you can see, IRL the war against Japan wasn't that hard to win. [;)]

Marky,

We had this discussion over a year ago. You didn't like giving the AI advantages it NEEDS with the harder level.. It cheats, so be it, it is more of a challenge for a while. You'll win in the end anyway.
