Minor OOB question

I noticed something odd while upgrading my core German troops, when I looked at PzIIIH's and PzIIIJ's. The J comes out a year after the H and is worth 1 point more(J is 55, H is 54). Yet the H has better armor 60 front and rear hull to the J's 50. As well the H carries more HE and AP ammo.
Looking at this the H is the superior model why does the J cost more?
I'm guessing this is an OOB mistake because it would seem to me that a later model would be better than an earlier one.

the difference may be some of the j models had the long 50; which was a pretty efficient weapon, unless you try to whack a T34 or KV!

I forgot to mention according to the OOB both versions have the same main gun.
Its the PzIIIJ(s) that has the long 50mm

The PzIIIH has 2 APCR.
The PzIIIJ has 4 APCR.

But I'm not sure that is the true reason.

I think its a priceing mistake more then anything. The real life changes between the two versions can not be factored into the game. Like the J version had greater range the the H version.

Yup your right was looking at the rong tank when I stated that.

But looking at a number of site, achtung panzer being the best. The J version armour is better then the H version becouse of its construction. But just looking at the numbers it looks as if the H version has the better armour.
