Minor error noted playing a game using the 1.51 patch.



Top of the night, New York Yanks vs Boston. Jimmy Piersall led off with a single, who then stole 2nd and ultimately moved to third. See the marked portions of the log which follows. This same text appeared in the play by play window. Piersall is said to have struck out while sitting on 2nd and then he moved to third. Robert Soares who pinch hit for the batter who was scheduled after Piersall and who was batting when Piersall struck out form second then grounded out.

There were 3 batters during the inning.
1. Piersall - Singled, stole second, advanced to 3rd.
2. Soares - Grounded out batting for Agganis
3. Dailey - Struck out

2 outs but the game registered 3 (the Piersall strick out from second)

Didn't you hear?  Patch 1.51 changed some of the rules of the game in order to make gameplay faster.
 
There now only two outs per inning, a batter strikes out with two strikes, and games are only 6 innings long.
 
It's all an effort to "speed up the game".
