Maybe preparations for the holidays are slowing things down?  My 2 UV PBEM games are moving along at a nice 2 to 4 turn a day pace.

I think the USA is te only country that does not use the metric system...
 
I'll have to say that after 6 years stationed in Berlin, Germany I was getting used to doing the conversions.

OK so here in rainy Brasil it's 31 degrees (C not F) and my opponents in Switzerland and Canada continue to pump out their turns.
