switching from PSPNcast to manage mode

Well, I was sitting on the couch watching a PSPNcast when one of my two year olds hit some series of buttons and suddenly brought up the lineup screen for my team. I closed the menu down and proceeded on, but whatever he did, this seemed to switch things partially into "manage" mode, as a few batters later I was asked whether or not I wanted to try to throw out a runner trying to advance a base on a fly out.

So, what series of keys did he hit to cause this? And is there another series of keys to get things out of this manage mode and back into pure PSPNcast mode?
