The 6th Bautrupp and all the other rr engineers in the picture seem to me to be in good positions already:

I believe I want to move the 643rd PJ unit a little closer to the Soviet armour. If we move him now we won't miss out on the (at least ) 10% of allowable movement points we'll be deducted after the first combat round. And for a 31 movement points allowable that's 3 movement points that the first combat round will cost us. We'll use them now.

I'm thinking that the Axis Panzer units ( green ovals ) can take care of the Soviet armour to the south so that we might ought to move the 652nd PJ unit thusly:

I don't expect the Russian's to attack any of the Axis planes/bases so for now and probably at least until turn 10 or so we can use them as hex fillers to finish surrounds on Soviet units and recon and stuff like that.

Here's the options for moving the 188th AA unit ( I think options 1,2,3, and 9 could be filled by any other combat unit. All things considered, I'm leaning toward option 4 since that would leave only one hex left to fill for a surround on the Soviet recon unit ) :

In the order of units the 272nd AA unit is next.  We have bou cou options to choose from for this bad boy.  I
think options 1,2,5,9,11,12,15 and 16 could probably best be filled by any other combat unit.  If I first moved a
combat unit into option 2's hex I could move the AA unit into option 3's hex.  The same could be said for options 5
and 6.  Option 7 looks good as occuping it by the Axis would deny the favorable terrain to the Soviets and
partially finish the surround on that Soviet division.  I could probably move a combat unit into options 8, and 10.
Come to think of it options higher in number than 9 could probably be filled by the AA unit in the green oval.  So
having thought it out I think I'm going to choose option 7's hex as the destination for the 272nd AA unit.

Now to move the 275th AA unit. Out of all the choices I like 4 the best since it denies favorable terrain to the Soviet division:

Now to move the 289th AA unit:

Image

Options 1 thru 9 could be handled by the 611th AA unit ( green oval ). I'd rather fill
hexes 11,12,13,14,19, and 21 with a combat unit. Although the picture doesn't show it
option 15 will finish the surround on the Soviet MP unit. Choosing option 10 would finish
the surround on a Soviet division ( after combat units have moved up ). All things
considered I'm liking option 10 best of all.

There's no good place to move the 601st AA unit. Maybe we should save him for later.
