Manuel COTA version française

Post by JeF »

Le numéro 24 du magazine français PC4WAR inclus sur son CD un manuel de 20 pages entièrement en français détaillant les points essentiels de l'interface de Conquest of the Aegean. Ce n'est pas une traduction complète mais une bonne prise en main du jeu.

The french magazine PC4WAR distributes on the CD included in his issue #24 a manual for COTA in French. It's not a complete translation, the manual is only 20 pages long. It's more an extended "Getting Started", detailing the most important features and all the essential functions of the interface.

I can't say that I was aware of this. It came as a complete surprise to me. I don't even know it's author. Apart from a mistake here and there, it looks pretty good.

Cheers,

JeF.

Well, JeF, I invite you translate my top tips into French if you care to.

So, just how big is the French speaking war/strategy gaming market place in Europe and North America? Clearly, the fact that the community has two fine print publications dedicated to war gaming already says a lot. I think in English there is perhaps only one; Arm Chair General - which I haven't seen and I don't know if it is really dedicated to PC gaming.

You already invited me to do so, some time ago. [;)]
Too much words I can tell you. [;)]

All kidding aside, maybe I should just try it out and see how much time it takes... someday.

Take care,

JeF.

It's not - but it usually contains a computer wargame review though - I subscribed to it for a year, but found the choice of article subjects too US-centric for my taste.

Greetz,
