Something that could really make a game like CoI a success is some sort of player matching system, the ultimate expression of which are services such as Gamespy or the MS Gaming Zone. Does Matrix have plans in mind to address this need?

Cross of Iron comes packaged with BattleHQ which is a free player-matching program.

Cross of Iron also comes with MMCCIII, that's massive multiplayer. You should be able to hook up there and play out the strategic map.
