forum slow?

Post by General Quarters »

Recently, I occasionally find the forum EXTREEEMLY slow, so slow to open a thread that you wonder if it will open at all. Is this forum overload? I noticed there were 16 members present the last time this happened -- namely, a couple of minutes ago. Thought the forum honchos would want to know.

Ditto. Something is wrong. It's very very slow and I don't think the volume is larger than usual.

[X(]Same here...the last few days it's been extremely slow, even with DSL+. It's the whole Matrix forums, not just FOF.

Maybe they are being attacked via a deny access attack.  Sucks, but sometimes infantile individuals get their jollies that way. Most likely, though, they may be having server problems.
You've GOT to hold them back!

That is certainly something I would trace route then. Cause the current slow down is probably due to the database backups running. I noticed a very slow response the last 15 minutes but it is back to normal speed now.

[:D], oh that one.

I do not know why people always focus on the "operations", totally misleading. I'm Art Director and Senior Artist here (that's what it would be called in other companies). But I did not make all these titles up ... [;)]
