The 207th Sec Div and the 61st Inf Div had the task of destroying some Soviet armour with an assist from some 6th Panzer Div regiments. Here's the battle results:

I'm not sure it would be instructive to go through all the battles ( there's a lot of them ) and I'm having problems finding all the participants now that the turn is overwith and it would be a major undertaking to try to reconstruct them ( I still have the turns rounds and all that but.... ).

The first move I made was to sail the battleship from where it was off the west coast of Latvia and, converting ports as I went, to my surprize Ventspils turned into a supply source.

The 291st Inf Div has orders to move to Riga but the division is fatigued so they decide to take the southern route even though it's a slightly longer trip to Riga, the supply is much better.

I guess it must be one of the set events. I must have read right over this in the Scenario briefing since I didn't recognize the name of the place. Must be a lot of easter eggs like this one in the scenario!

Menschenfresser is doing a magnificant job of covering all the good places to cross the river. There is no place that isn't defended sufficiently. No easy crossings for this Axis player.

Here's a chart of the approx. positions of the Axis aircraft at the end of turn 3. I didn't plot all of them because it started looking confusing and a lot of the airports are near other airports. Also, the Romanian aircraft become active in turn 4 so I went ahead and plotted them since it's going to be turn 4 soon.
