insignificant question

This new Commander's Edition of Harpoon Classic includes land units, neutral and unknown sides, an improved radar and area ECM model and a host of other improvements. Rounding that out are over 200 scenarios and the WestPac Battleset. Try out this great new version of the classic Harpoon!

insignificant question

Post by augustus »

As I recall--it's many, many years ago now--moving units in Harpoon had arrows that pointed only in eight directions, and you had to click on it (or watch it move) to see it's exact course. Harpoon 3 and Fleet command have move lines that point in a more precise direction. Will HCCE have the original, only eight arrows pointed vaguely in the course direction, or the more exact lines.

HCCE will have the original, vaguely accurate 8 arrows, unless Fletcher pulls a fast one on me.

Looks like we lost a C somewhere, now to be referred to as HCE [8|].  Anyway Augustus, you are the first person I've seen comment on the directional arrows.  Do they bug you with only 8 possible display points or just a curiosity?
