Now that I've finally gotten a chance to do something that has something to do with my training, the stress level has subsided a bit.

how is your website coming along?

Not too badly. It's being balanced with three different work projects, 2 PBEM games and art stuff for Freman's Mod. So far all of the Royal Navy section is complete, including downloads. Working on the USN & IJN stuff, then the planes.

oh, i had thought that units might train together on occasion... but it doesn't sound like that happens very frequently.

I spent over 17 years in the brigade he is a part of, but a year ago moved to the state HQ. I hate it. I want to go back to the field. Eventually, I'll make my way back there. Then, I'll most likely see him daily at annual training (or when we deploy). [:D]

Just last night and tonight this shift.

The longest we spend on nights is three nights.

We spent most of last night trying to fix various problems on our only 'serviceable' jet.  We have 4 planes U/S at base, IIRC 2 are U/S abroad, another one is in the USA doing the work of three planes [:D].

That's gotta suck flipping between day and night shift.  That always screws me up.

You don't realise how much it crews you up until you try to do 'normal' Monday-Friday working. I spent 6 weeks on a course, the first 2 weeks I was dead to the world by 5pm [>:]
