To be released before Xmas.  As to the price tag, you will need to interrogate David...

Hi. As an avid CCIII junkie, the news of the impending release of COI was huge. However, Christmas has come and gone and, unless I've missed something, still no news of release date. Has COI been released yet, or has there been a production hiccup?

Looks like the latest rumor is that COI will be available sometime during the first two weeks of Jan 2007. My guess is that the price range will be between $39.00 to $49.00 depending on how you purchase the game.

The response from Matrix on this is disapointing. I know that they are away on their hard earned seasonal break. However, k9mike posed the original question over two months ago. On a separate forum, Beeblebrox indicated that the development gold had been passed to Matrix at the beginning of December.

As a potential purchaser, I would appreciated an indication from Matrix when the game is likely to be available and how much it will cost.

Sorry you feel dissapointed, we indicated in several replies that we aimed for a Christmas release (which we sadly could not make). The new anticipated release is in January, which should be pretty much a set deal, if not something major pops up. I can't say anything official about the price, since I'm not involved in such matters, and AFAIK it is still TBA.

But my guess is that the price stated in our latest promotional catalog is a good indication. $39.00 to $49.00 depending on the purchase option chosen.

Marc,

Thank you for your quick response. I appreciate that problems occur. I was frustrated because whilst there was excellent feedback from the developers (CSO), but this didn't seem to be matched by information from Matrix. If I have missed your previous posts I apologise. All being well I look forward to a January release.

Kind Regards,

kam

Hi Marc
Thanks for the response. I think this thread just shows how much the impending release of COI is anticipated by the community, and the level of excitement out there.

If the update is not ready now, I'd rather not see any more wild ass guesses for release dates. Thanks.
