I wouldn't count on it getting out officially by Friday. I've already had a few people from the tournament email me to get the 1.010 version. Although it doesn't have an installer, it's only a few files (only the exe is important) so it's pretty easy for people to update their 1.008 version with the zip file I can email out.

We have to find some kind of agreement before friday/tour...
Shall we install 1.009 and then unzip that exe, or we could just unzip exe file from ver. 1.008?
And it would be usefull if that zip file would be somewhere available for DL (or we all just gonna spam Joel with our mail[:D]

here is small part about the rules...:

Onto the rules

1) All participants must be registered at the Ladder at wargamer.com
2) The results of all tournament games are to be logged at the Ladder
3) All games will be with the 'Total War' scenario of AWD using the latest official patch.
4) FOW=on Advanced Supply=on End Date=on Auto Victory=on
5) Players have 48hrs to return a file or email there opponent explaining the delay and when they can expect the turn.
6) One last house rule. Rus can not start the war with Japan until Ger has surendered. (i.e. no HB attack on Japan to get DOW)

The tournament will still start Friday night after I finalize the list, which will not be done until after I get home from work. Figure about 1800 EST or about 2300 GMT, maybe a bit earlier should not be any later.

Players have a choice to delay there game(s) unitll the official release or aquire 1.010 another way.
