Border bug?

Back in TAOWII when you had show borders, for teh visible possesion menu or even show flags you would see that any territory along a front was designated one side or another. Is it a bug that OAWIII only seems to show it near a unit and not along a front, unnocpied territory doesnt seem tobe show as under control. Very hard to tell when I am pushing along a good axis of advance or cutting off a unit. So is this a bug, or intended?

So um do you have 'no borders' turned on. What you describe sounds a lot like what happens when you have 'no borders' turned on. On the menu go to
play->game options->advanced game options

and you'll see some buttons. They are toggles for the various options.
