i just downloaded the demo and when i try 2 run it it says that it cant set it 2 the requested resolution (1280x1024x32) and my comp doesnt go that hi (1280x800x32)ne ideas on how i can fix this?

you will need to manually edit the video.cfg file.
 
it looks like this and lives in the Starshatter TGS folder...open it with notepad.
 
set the correct resolution and save.

demo is old from years ago and not gathering storm

it still would require the video.cfg file to be altered...or create your own.
 
if your playing the demo off the starshatter download page it's the same one I started with...

Maybe now (before the "new demo") is a good time to remind milo that he shouldn't make assumptions as to the capability of video cards/monitors.
I've encountered at least one other person with this problem, and had I downloaded the demo I know I would have had it too (my monitor can only manage up to 1024*768).
