Help with 2.5 update

Hi, I have downloaded the latest patch and installed it.

However when I start UV a message appears saying "cannot load UV data". Anyone know what the problem/solution is to this? I have tried uninstalling UV and then trying the patch on a fresh installation but still no luck.

I have the same problem. Help matrix!

I have the store bought CD version 2.0.

I patched my current install adn receive the cannot find UV data message.

I have reinstalled the game again and added all of the other patches and still get the same message.

What should I try next?

Are you sure you installed the patch in your current game directory ? It seems the patch installer is not always able to find your directory and is reverting to the standard directory used by the UV installer (you then have a direcory with only the updated files).

I reinstalled it again. I placed the uncompressed patch files one at a time into the game folder and ran them. After each one the game ran with the exception of the 2.5 patch. Now Im getting the error message about not able to find data etc.

I used the same procedure both times on the current install and the new one with no luck. Isnt this correct?

Confirm that the link actually points to the installation directory.

Problem solved. Same problem as DEB, the patch was installing to the wrong directory. Thanks for the help.
