This has been hastily put together but maybe the lyrics for our first song.

(Chorus)
Wargammer, Wargammer
thats who we are. Strategy gaming,
take me to a new galaxy star.

(verse 1)
Since I was a little boy, I've played to the wee hours of the morn
cardboard cutouts, hexagons
give me tanks, more tanks, oh ye big bad tanks.

(verse2)
The world will not be the same
Leading my army across the vast plain.
Destroy my enemy, smash him to smitherines
thats my game.

this is a small sample. what do you think?

Long Live Rock

Oh ye big bad tanks!

I can smell the crispy Voles a-flinging...
Look out Albert Hall and Madison Square Garden (which is actually round)

And (St) Lo, I beheld a flaming vole and saw that strategy wargammers shall inherit the battlefields. Their binary armies shall march down the information highway conquering the unrighteous and the unworthy. By might of mouse movements and keyboard tapping they shall reach forth and smite all PBEM enemies and turn them into dust...

Shunwick I see you already started growing the beard!
Wonderful...now lets see about attracting some voles....
Zap brilliant first leg of the tour!...
Now lets take stock...we have a lead prophetic SPFVL (self propelled flaming vole launcher) front person thingy, ZAP you seem to be filling the Lyricist and tour manager role well, just neet to get you that Blue Buffont wig and we'll stick a keyboard or something on ya, you dont have play (unless of course you can which is plus, and any commbustable talents you have would be icing on the cake) just sort of sway and make random thrusts and twitches (preferably to the beat), I will play the Stealth Bass Guitar, and completly encase my body in cardboard chits with NATO symbols scrawled all over and during every Guitar solo I will spew fire from...hmmm well from somwhere.
Still need....
Backing Vocals with big err hum hums.
Non alcholic percussion.
Actual booked gigs.
Plenty of Gel Fuel.
Perhaps a few more songs.
A very flammable Lead Guitarist.
What else peeps....eh?
What am I missing?

Robpost3,

I am not sure I want to know too much about Zap's thrusts and twitches. And I don't even want to think about his combustable talents. Has he been on the baked beans again?

What we really need are some groupies. [:D]

If we don't get backup singers do you thinlk we could hire her.

I agree with shunwick. I don't even want to see myself thrust and gyrate. Could'nt i just roll around on stage?

Music talent? I have a keyboard I use once in a while at home the keys lite up so I can play the bank of 100 songs recorded. Does that count?

Combustible. Boy Oh Boy do I have a treat for you! Since I drive an oil turck 6500 gallons. We have an endless supply of used oil. What do you think of this vision? A gigantic cauldron full of oil on stage that I can light with a flame-thrower.

Yes, I was thinking that Matrix would want to hire us for the next convention. We could play at their booth. I'm sure we would attract all the conventioners to their booth.

Zap, you may have a point. The Flaming Hexagons would certainly attract a lot of media attention at the Matrix stand.

Robpost3, as for the groupies - mine's ok but the other two are right dogs ...

Yes you can roll about I mean after all it is Rock and "Roll". Bless you for being a truck driver and an oil truck too (rubs hands in sinister way)!
A keyboard that lights up (light show too!)-well I see a Freebird style jam to roll out the barrell (45 minutes of Polka Power)...
(Heavy Metal Polka could be a first).
Wow! 100 polkas preprogrammed we rock!
I like the caulldron idea brilliant...works with the wargaming concept...greek fire or medival siege defense...
I am currently working on the background singer issue, I am thinking "The all dead all-stars".
Right now I have working on this 3 mediums 1 chicken entrail specialist and a plumber named Gus. They are trying hard to contact and bring back from the great beyond our singers: Wendy O Williams, Mama Cass, Ethel Merman (I think she is dead?), and a small cairn terrier named Mr. Buffles.
Oh and in a dream last night Devine said she would cross over and be our 60's style cage Go-Go dancer.
The implications of this are well...implying something!
Gotta go the men in white coats are at the door again with those darn butterfly nets...

Let me sidetrack from the serious post to give a hilarious quote from Hitler.

" It fills me with shame when I think that I have lost more blood shaving than on the Battlefield"

My wife is polish and french...
My grand dad fought in the blitz my great grand parents had 14 children of whom 3 survived the war.
The were all farmers.
My wifes family has been farming in Western Mass since the early 1700s mostly the polish side the french side got drunk and practiced carpentry(theres a funny song called Drunkin Frenchmen built my house (Ill post the lyrics sometime or pm you them)).
So I guess its destiny that we do a 45 minute free-bird style polka rock jam...
(hey remeber this one... I dont want her-you can have her-shes too fat for me)
I dont how many who stole or hid the keishka jokes I've heard during the holidies.
Now ya got me started...
Wait a minute!
Hey you got the thread back on track![&o]

French canadian (the ones that went to New Orleans), polish, russian here. My wife Mexican.

Lets just "roll out the barrel and we'll have a whole lot of fun"

The thread was destined to go off track with that title. I felt a little guilty for sidetracking the thread so i had to offer something to redeem myself.

Guys,

Big Polish influence on my father's side of the family. My uncle Tadek fought and survived the battles for Monte Cassino.

I have never been directly involved with the armed forces but I understand the debt we owe to those men and women in uniform.
