Where do I d/load the game from??

Post by SMK-at-work »

I recently lost all my data to a hotherboard crash & have just received the hardware back working again.

I can't seem to find where to download ToaW III from?

I have retrieved my serial number OK, and also hte 0.017 patch, but can't get the game itself.

Can someone point me to the right place please?

Ta

Mike

I'm not sure. Try emailing support@matrixgames.com and PM'ing Erik Rutins. They should be able to help you.

Okay. Good luck, and let us know how it got resolved.

Ralph and I, along with a host of helpful volunteers, and onlookers, can help with issues related to playing the game, but we're not involved with the sales and download suppport end of the operation. That's entirely Matrixgames' responsibility as the publisher.

Yeah I didn't think so, but was trying to cover all bases.

The automated re-order system revolves around a couple of bits of info - either your credit card number, or your order number.  My order number was lost in hte crash, and I had cut up the credit card I bought this with a couple of months ago!

Fortunately the halpful people at the shop were able to send me my order number based on address, full name, etc., so it all went smoothly from there :)

Thanks

I've been wondering if I should mention the three golden rules of using a computer:-

1. Backup important files
2. Backup important files
3. Don't ignore the first two rules.

On second thoughts, I won't mention them since there doesn't seem to be a smug bastard smiley on the list.

Best wishes,
I love the smell of TOAW in the morning...

I thought that being able to download again in case of emergency was a sufficient backup ....and indeed it was....once hte paperwork was sorted!

I thnk I'll jsut copy the file onto a CD for now as well tho....[&o][&o]

It's also a good idea to create a text file to include on the cd that has your serial number on it. Makes it one less thing to hunt down in case of a crash, and it's easier to just cut and paste it from the file, than it is to type them in again...[;)]
