I was able to see Letters last friday, I agree with those who liked it better than Flags; it is a more powerful film.

The film looks good but my only concern is that from the trailers, it puts the Japanese defenders in the light a little too much. From what I do know, the Japanese had to give up those morals they did have into fighting their enemy with their all. It became not a war of emotions, I mean on both sides, but realistically, a fight to survive.

However, I would like to see the film.

I suppose that somehow I'll get the DVDs since the movies here in Brasil aren't showing either one.

LFIJ comes to Singapore next month - can hardly wait. Saw FOOF 2 moths ago - quite a good movie.
