HnM3 AI Adjustments

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

HnM3 AI Adjustments

Post by Panama Red »

Tim:
Are you thinking about adding a method to HnM3 to adjust the competativeness of the AI ???

Some simple ways (if it can be coded this way) is to have a slide bar like some other games have which give more or less advantages to the AI versus the human player. One of the things that you might adjust is increasing or decreasing the Command Ratings for the AI or Human player from each particular scenario CR numbers. Another thing you might adjust is increasing or decreasing the weapons "lethality" for either the AI or Human player per the particular scenario.

I suspect you have more and probably better ways to adjust things, but this way as people get more and more proficient in playing the HnM3 game they can make it a greater and greater challenge to win.
