Reading the manual

I downloaded the game a few minutes after it was available on matrix games. I'm still reading the manual (well I had a little work to do, I am not THAT slow), wanting to get the most of this very promising product. I have no experience with the Decisive Battles series so I am completely green. What do you think about this game compared to BiN and BII?

[:)]I love them all but Battlefront really takes first prize in my book! Four completly different theaters, the ability to call your own airstrikes & artillery and a more engaging and compelling HQ to Unit relationship eg: keep them together( Regimental Integrity). I've had to read the manual two or three times just to find the points that could have been covered in a "What's New" section of the manual for DB players but i think this is going to be the biggest hit ever for SSG and Matrix!
Since you've never played a DB game before you may have an advantage as you have a fresh perspective as things ARE different ie: Arty/Airstrikes must be used by the player before making an attack whereas DB it was automatic. Read the manual and play...it'll all come together.
For those of you worried about bugs, Pffffft, the only two minor issues are:
1) Music setting doesn't save between games.
2) The Scenario Info is missing ie: battle description at the choose scenario screen.

This game rocks! Oh so worth the wait![&o]

It's getting very hard to wait for the physical copy.

I downloaded the game like Battles in Italy and so far it's totally different from BII. I am still playing with the game aspects so I can not form an opinion of the game as of yet but so far it's keeping my attention!!! I will say this, it's very different from BII! I'll keep playing with the system!!1
