Turning financials on?

Is there any way to turn on the financial system after a league has started? I don't see any option in the game, but maybe there is a hack for the xml file or something.

Yeah, this would be interesting. I started my association by turning MLB on its ear, but IF I could suddenly change the balance of power between seasons by allowing financials and free agency, it'd be a neat twist to the alternative history .

The only problem with this is that I don't know how well the AI GMs handle finances. This COULD create more problems than it's worth.

So, let's be circumspect on what we wish for.
