Hard copy and manual

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Just checking...I see digital copy is available...when physical copy becomes available, will it come with a printed manual as per Matrix recent statement?

Thx

I read somewhere that the box version would be available in 2 to 3 weeks.

Is that still the plan?

... if so, I think I'll be patient and wait ... in the meantime some of these startup issues will be resolved.

hang in there ... its so hard to predict what will happen when software hits the street.

I wish I could be as patient as you! However, I am having fun playing with the new enhancements and they are a plenty. There is not a single issue that really bothers any gameplay. Very minor.

I would also like the printed manual as I have a shelf of Matrix manuals and a basket of empty printer ink cartridges. [:@]

I'll be patient on this one, I think. It looks like the sort of game that demands an easily readable manual, especially with regard to the editor.

I think this will be one of very few examples of pc games that I play for many years and periodicly return to, so I am waiting for the nice physical package; but reading the comments from people already playing it is killing me.[:(]

To make it clear again. Every new release from FOF on (or to put it in numbers; 2007) will come with a printed 4c manual. Every release that you buy as a physical product, digital downloads of course only with a PDF manual [;)]

We will upgrade older releases as we move on.

I am going to wait for the CD copy with the printed manual. It is going to be a very long wait[:D]. I didn't realize there is a new policy in place regarding the change from digital download +/- CD copies to digital download or CD plus printed manual. Having no CD burner & having to completely reinstall system & all software periodically I need the CD. The printed manual will be a bonus. But it will still be the longest wait...

That's a bummer not having a CD burner. I got spoiled the first time I used mine, then I got a DVD burner and backups are a breeze now. Getting the printed manual though is a good thing so it will be worth you waiting, especially if you have another good Matrix game to play. [8D]
