Season 1 is pretty much a testbed season for us, just to shake things out. We have talked to our Commish about playing out a game or two, to get screens and stuff. It's up to him, since it is his time, so we are generally ok with whatever he decides.

Our kickers are definately uber-footed, we may look into that. As it is, I dont think any of us are going to say much about it, 'Points is points' :-)

Oh come on what wrong with a guy hit'n 11 of 11 and being the only person to get points in a game. [:D]

We had that already. It was kinda crazy but his offence did show up the next week for him

No wonder society is going down the drain. Pimping? Football?

MSO94, they are your uniforms, give them to someone who doesn't act like a "Gangsta Foo". We don't need another Playmakers episode here...

We have a shaw digital cable box. We get all the american FOX, CBS, and NBC channels, so we can watch the Superbowl without those dang Global News commercials, but we have to sign up for ESPN, ESPN Classic....that kind of thing...

Except there is usually a month where we get all the channels free to watch them....

The PIFL playoff schedule started today in Miami where the 3rd seed Pensacola Aviators took on the favorite, the 8-2 Florida Suns.

SEMI-FINAL:

Pensacola 53
@ Florida 43

When is the Bowl game to be played?

Should be Saturday sometime.
My Pensacola Aviators vs Toronto Tequilas at Nashville(Neutral site)

Its a 3 team format this season, best record gets a bye and automatic bid to the title game while teams 2 and 3 have a playoff.

It was the 3rd meeting of the Florida Suns and Pensacola Aviators. Florida won the 2 regular season meetings but the Avs got the upset win in the playoff.

Toronto defeated Pensacola 57-44 in week 4, so we need another upset.

I checked out your league website, and the Championship was played, but alas, it was not posted here.

It looks like the underdog had to gut his way through the playoffs.  That's cool!

By the way, will you be going to four playoff teams the next season?

Or commish Brendan, is a busy guy, Baseball hero and all that stuff :-)

We are working thru the draft at the moment. Its an old league file, so issues are arising.

****GO Aviators!!****

We expanded to 12 teams and are going to the USFL 83 format of 3 divs, 4 teams each. Playoffs will be div winners plus 1 wild card.
We were also a 3 down league last season, now moved to 4. And are also working out the details of using custom plays.

My Aviators basically lost their way into the playoffs, needing Motor City to lose for us to make it in and they did. Despite our loss in the last week.[8|]
