Control Panel change turn#2 MG

Post by TheHellPatrol »

Turn 2 as Axis Market Garden, i start off with minefields & a Fortification to place. After placing them the interdiction panel doesn't revert to the control panel eg: Direct Fire Units, Indirect Fire Units. I have to use the Bombardment advisor to find units which can use Indirect fire while the interdiction panel still shows the "grayed" out placed mines/forts. In essence, after the placement panel (mines/forts etc.) the control panel stays the same(@ interdiction) even if i select units. WAD?
Also of note: at end of turn #1 a message stated i had three units in my OMA that were not placed...i could not find any viable units in Alert/Standard/Reinforcements. All were accounted for with some with a circle with a line thru it.

There's a button on the Control Panel (just next to the Choose Country button which toggles this panel. This is new to Battlefront, Section 7.13 of the manual explains its use.

I'll check further on the OMA message.

We've tracked down the OMA issue. There are a maximum of 12 units allowed in an OMA in any one turn, because that is the maximum you can move to the map in a turn. If there are more than 12 units trying to get in, they get stacked up and wait for next turn.

What's happening is that the helpful code that prompts you if you haven't given orders to units in an OMA is telling you that some units over and above the 12 you can see have not been given orders. While this is quite true, it's not very useful because there's no way you can actually give them orders!

This problem won't crop up all that often and we'll have it fixed for a patch.

Thank you very much! I have seen that in effect where i get the leftover units the next turn. Just won a Decisive Victory as the Axis at Novorissik...this game is a masterpiece! No other issues that i have noticed...now, on to Gazala[:)].
