Sov update

Post by freeboy »

As I do not have my enemies permission for an AAR , here is a little snipet from HQ, Stalin is pleased affter 29 turns, Kiev jsut fell and Smolensk Korsun and Lenn all look like they may be saved by the rains. He dismisses reports of the over 100 divisions lost as unworthy of his attention, but I know who will get shot when summer of 42 comes around and the panzer are at our throuts again!...

You have to have your opponent's permission to do an AAR?

my sov openent keeps pushing, but Lenn, Smol and K(probably) will last.. but what do I do after the rain, since I lost so many troops a majopr offensive is ill advised, BUT, I will certainly attack somewhere , thoughts?

Let him think he is still wearing the trousers. Let him try an offensive and get burnt out. Then smash him with a counterattack while he's still disrupted.

I keep seeing dozens of reconstituted units in the next few turns, Soviets are doing a great job of making rifles and small arms! I also have not lost my tank armies.. other than thos that started in Poland and a few others.. thaks all.
The rains start! Looks like I will live to fight into 42!

k I sure hope I can read correctly and the rain STARTS on 32, not 33!.. so I used that little bit of tacticle info to make some attacks!, after all my oponent seemed to want to make these last minute armored colomn attacks!.. and loo and behold we have a high end paonzer group eliminated and two divisons and more in two pockets, I am pleased, and the sovs show signs of life at Smolensk sending several units runnig for cover and killing closs to 300 inf squads and many guns! It is a proud day for mother rusia on turn 31! now if it rains I will have held onto at great cost all my key city objectivess, the next goal will be to reinforce the North,.. and dig in...

I did not see that, anyway the counteratttack was needed for my moral if nothing else! It amazing what 50 well fed soviet tanks can do with some infantry support , aflanking attack and some artillery to an over worked underfed hig hquality German unit! I love this game!
