Allied decisive victory

I am in a PBEM game now, May 1945. It came up as a " Allied Decisive Victory" does the game end at this point?

Japan can set to ignor the auto-victory when it pops up, if you guys still want to keep going.

My opponent let me know he hit the end button, so that ends the game.

We started the game in Aug 2004. We were playing pretty slowly the first year. At one turn days, that is a lot of turns.

It was a surprise when it popped up. I clicked the option to end the game. It allowed me to view both sides. But I did not know if the popup would happen if I sent the turn so I replayed the turn and chose continue so I could send the turn to AdmNelson.

Guess he did not get to see the victory screen - but he won. He had 86k points to my 42k. It was early May (3rd I think). Except for the frustration with bugs in the game it was a good game.

If you want a reliable opponent AdmNelson is the man.

Congrats to you guys both on finishing! That in itself is a great achievement. It's tough for the US player to hang in there over the first year; and it is at least as tough for the IJN player to hang in there over the next three years. Kudos to both of you.

We are playing team PBEM (2x2), scen 15, started in November 2004, now we are in Jan/1944..I hope that we will finish it this year

Yes I just saw it this last weekend in my game against Capt Ed with us reaching Jan 1,1943. With the Allied sit-rep in a bad way we elected to not continue. We have restarted switching sides with me now as the Allies.

Congrads on completiong!  It is very hard to hang in there in real life,  day after day/month of getting  pounded.[;)]

Got that right. The only advantage was how quickly I could do a turn. There was nothing to do except end the orders phase and send it back!
