Font in the game

Post by Ursa MAior »

What I saw from the posted screenshots the game uses an antique font which was the "trademark" of early 90's wargames like Warlords I Civilization I and stuff.
Altoug it is not a game breaker it does not fit into a 21st century game.

Marshall you dont have answer -keep working- but please change it. There should be a lettertype which looks contemporary yet is not this one (i dont remember its name tho).

Usra, you saved my day [:D]
When did you find out the "antique font" ? I guess just 2 minutes before you started your posting...
And you´r so cute to allow Marshall to work on, with no need to answer your posting. He only needs to follow your order. Muhhahaha [:D][:D][:D]

There is nothing wrong with the letters, it's just a matter of style. Besides, having a late 18th century/early 19th century feel will make the game more periodic in my humble opinion.

As you say a matter of tastes.

Well afetr reading Haythornwaite's Die Hard! Famous Napoleonic battles I am in a mood to even go with these letters, just to see them in my screen just as Paper Tiger said.
