Mystic..Resurrection

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Mystic..Resurrection

Post by laska2k8 »

Saipan scenario...first encounter with lt-gen. Yoshitsougu Saito (43th infantry division HQ) near the village of Laulau, surronded then unit destroyed...sorry.
Heading north, well, village Hashigoru taken, now straight to Makunsha...but...my God !!!
a ghost on the way...Mr Saito back to life for its vengeance..[X(]

By the way can someone tell me how much can be defined "historical" a situation like this...

Well, I read the manual, that's a possibility for a scenario designer to use this "resurrectional" option, but, please, not in a historical scenario. [:-]

The HQ unit represents the command and not just an individual. Most HQ have forward, rear, jump, main, etc... sections dispersed throughout the battlefield. So if one goes down, then another (or a regimental HQ)... someone assumes the command function. That's what you're seeing here.

hope not to see Saito tonight in some sort of nightmare...

Anyway, JSS you're right, there was no disappointment in my previous posts only joking.

Great game, now trying the Saipan from the axis side, love indirect fire and the reworked UI. Great Job.

Hard to came back to my BiN, BiI installations.

JSS is right - it's not really him, but someone else performing his duties. The scenario designer could stop all resurrection, but it would make the loss of a HQ a fairly crippling blow.
