Roster issue

Post by garysorrell »

David, not sure how this should work, but here is the situation:
**20 man roster, indoor rules**
Should an injured player be able to be made 'inactive'?

My LB is injured(4games), but there is no toggle to make him inactive. So, he is out, but still counts against my roster total. If I sign a LB to replace him, my roster shows Active Players: 21/20

My only option is to make a player at another position inactive.
Which is hard to do with the 20 man roster

I understand its arena style, so players often play both ways. Just curious if that was the intention or if we should be able to make an injured guy inactive

Also, just noticed...I changed the Max Indoor League to 40man rosters, and ran a couple weeks games...all CPU controlled. The rosters all say Active Players: 41/40 Inactive: 5

I did an actual count, and its accurate.

I was able to simm games while these teams carried the extra player

Im patched current and reset the MIL before the change to 40 man roster

Also, in regard to injured players. If a player gets injured do his skill attributes take a hit? If you view his skill attributes will you see the reduction?

Injured players are shown included with your active player count, but you're not being penalized for going over the active player limit. While the game may display 41/40, you probably have 40 healthy active players, and 1 injured player. Your active and healthy player count is at 40 and that's all that matters.

To activate/inactivate a player, go to the edit player screen (click the [VIEW PLAYER] button).

I need to separate those so it's a little more clear, but that's not going to happen until I redo all the screens.

Thanks. I had the active/inactive down ok, just noticed there was no option to do this with an injured player.
But, since it doesnt count against the active count...thats all I needed to know.
