But in fact my family was all in partisan. One granduncle died fighting ustashi near Marija Bistrica (Zagorje region). The father of my father dies fighting Germans and other collaborators 1943. and we don't even know his grave.(quislings, remember that was that Norwegian guy and I am sure you Danes had them also lol).
Cousin from Zadar fought chetnicks, Italians in the battle of Neretva. He showed me a pistol that he took from dead Chetnik Vojvoda (leader). Dalmatians were deep in partisan movement because Pavelic (Usatasha guy) gave many islands and part of Adriatic coast to Italy.

And also you must know that Croatia had Italian zone and German zone. Italians also had chetnicks under their protection and armed them. Chetnicks also commited atrocities but Ustasha also, so it was divide et impera. and another thing it was in fact fight for power and civil war also. And there were many factions and comunists etc...
