Dedication to the Game and the long campaign

Post by robot »

The following charts show the battles I have ready for the long campaign. I fight them not all at once but as they come up by date. Earliest date and so forth. Right now I am fighting the French and the Italians to catch them up to the others. I have been fighting this long campaign for over a year now. May seem long or maybe very boring but I find that using different tatics makes each and every battle some what different.

I guess I have made somewhere near a million clicks to move units forward or backwards where needed. The really long ones are the assaults. Thank heaven for the defenses that last mostly shorter then 10 turns. But I have had a lot of enjoyment from this game and so far have not got bored with it. Thanx to all the hard work by the dedicated few who have strived to make this game so enjoyable.

This is the first page.

This is the second page. You will notice the last two. One says Brits vs Germans. The next says Germans vs Brits. These are actually French vs Germans and Italians vs British templates. I did this so that when you save the turns will advance. Where if I were to type in Italians vs British I would have to change the turns myself as they advance. Once you change the heading then you must change the turn info your self no auto advance as you save. Has taken a lot of determination to stick with this as long as I have. Thats why I hope I have not bored too many people with my Dars as this too takes alot of dedication to sit and try and make the reports be some what interesting. I hope some of you people have at least liked my reports. Makes all the time I put into them more worthwhile. Didnt mean too ramble on so much just wanted to show how much I like this game. And hope you all get as much enjoyment as I have over the years from it.

one hell of alot of work stored there robot and won't it be nice to be able to run the campaign watcher for each nation similtaniously as well! u seem to go as deep mentally as I find myself, with actually giving your units personalities, and making little mini battles with each individual platoons progresses,, I'm an immersive catigoried I guess?!1[:'(]

No question, I have enjoyed your DAR's and look forward to reading many more. Reading a descriptions of someone's well executed plan is almost as much fun as executing a plan myself.

Thank you for all your efforts,

Just question here: who's that Gary? Is it Gary Grigsby? [X(]
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
