Is there a MODERATOR looking at this?????????

Why, Locking the thread won't make people smarter.

Letting it go until they realize what fools they have made of themselves is far better prevention for future "outbreaks of idiocy" than continually locking threads every other day, while the trolls compete to see who can get a thread locked the quickest.

You always know it is approaching bottom dead center when the Anti-Americanism starts...

Sometimes when there is doubt as to who the ignorant are, you just let them flap their gums and remove all doubt.

That's not something a Mod can fix...

Threads die off on their own eventually.

It is amusing to "Borat" certain posters who need very little encouragement to expose their existential position.[;)]

You know Paul it's funny how of ALL nasty things thrown around this bizarre thread - and there have been MANY - you notice only this "anti-Americanism". There have been insults to Slavs, Semites, Germans, "Euros", "Balkan bois" (whoever they are), Danes, Croats, Americans, morons (LOL [:D]) + several named persons, pretty much insults to everybody and his dog thrown around here and the *ONLY* thing you, as official MG admin, feel the need to comment on is anti-Americanism??

Let me also say this, for the record.

I am not "anti american" in any way shape or form. I love most things American. Also, most of the things in life I enjoy are American in nature or by invention (Internet, rock and roll, and most of the wargames I play). My grandpa spent WW2 in USA (New York) and always spoke favorably of USA. Most of the people I communicate and play games with are Americans.

I also staunchly disagree with Mario (also known as Bloodstar, here on Matrixboards known as Monkeys Brain) in his stupid "Fourth reich" comments. I know him well from other boards and I think he sometimes acts as a disgrace (hey every small nation has it's Rune - we have Mario [:D]) Monkeys brain/Mario will go ballistic when he reads this, but hey, I've been thru that already, many times [>:]

At least I have guts to distance myself from people who disgrace my country - which most of you here, including you Paul, don't. [:-]

Having said all that, I think your comment is heavily biased and unbecoming of MG admin. If in this bizare sea of nastiness, insults and bad jokes all you notice is "anti americanism" you need better glasses. [8D]

Huh, huh... I will not go ballistic, nor that I have any reason.

What's happening with this disgrace or distance... I am not representing any country here to make myself clear. I didn't disgraced anyone or anything as I am only telling my opinion.

Fourth Reich? That's antiamericanism? lol

I can give them coordinates so they can throw A-bomb on me [:D]

Have you been to America? I have been four times. I have many friends there and I am friend of American people. Honestly. There is a difference with ordinary people in America and their politics.

I in fact consider Americans one of most kind and polite people on the planet, go visit them and you will see.

And beside something for a credit to Americans if Iran would be on their place of power maybe things could have been even worse. [;)]

And one more thing for you to learn, Americans contrary to you small petty balkan boy doesn't find so many things strange. For instance when The Clash toured USA they asked them did Americans find offending "I am so bored with USA" song, they replied that they in fact wanted to hear it.

So when I say that they are Fourth Reich I am only doing them a favor - and that is certanly better to say them in the face what I think...

And Oleg spare me from your low efforts in patronizing me. We don't agree and voila, and don't need to.

There is no anti-Americanism here. The thread was heated by some stupid anti Croat pamflets... And that is OK until someone start to scratch a Big Bear hehe.

F4U Corsair. I've always loved this aircraft.
As a kid I had this same model hanging near my bed, chasing down a Zero.
Damn, is it beautiful.

The thesis about America being a Fourth Reich is from not published interview of Branimir Stulic. Oleg you know the guy. BTW, interview is one of the best he gave.

So you don't agree with bigger genius than me hehe.

Yes you are. In a thread degenerated like this, where people consciously or subconsciously form "camps" you have to be VERY careful what you say because your personal opinion will be "reflected" on all others from your "camp".

(Even if you're very careful, there will be people like Paul, who are simply too lazy to read and comprehend what's written [>:])

Good example is Rune - personally I think he is occassionally funny and I do have *some* sympathy for every Dane that joined Danish armed forces and got sent - to Balkans on a peacekeeping mission! [:D] How screwed up is that? Couldn't he find some proper JOB in his country? The ugliest thing he posted here is "nema dizela". That's just hilarious on certain level.... I certainly don't expect him to love Croats based on his shitty mission in shitty time among shitty people from shittiest part of Croatia, as part of the shitty Danish peacekeeping army or whatever.

Anyhow, regardless of that, this dude is a disgrace to his country because of the way he acts in a thread like this. Terminus did what he could to disassociate himself from Rune, in as much as I am doing the same with you. Both you and Rune may pass as nice dudes - in some other thread, though [:D]

Most US oil is domestic as USA is 4th largest oil producer in the world.  The percentage we get from the middle east is in the teens iirc.  To say we went there just for oil is stupid.  Somebody says something about YOUR country, you croations go apeshit.  I don't know about Croatia or Bosnia or whatever the f it is b/c it never interested me.  But why do I have to read ppl talk bullshit about my country all the time, and then someone suggests YOUR country are a bunch of nazis.  The same exact bullshit you guys say about Bush and America all the time.  Call us nazis.  And you're going to get your little pink panties all wadded up and start calling my friends whatever the worst names are you can think of b/c they tell you to stfu or say something bad about the Utopia u live in?

As pissed and offended as you get when ppl call you nazis, I feel the same about mine.

"You can Dish it out, but can't take it."  Its an American saying, maybe brits I dunno.  It basically means if you talk shit about others don't act offended when they talk shit about you.

heh, ok, then I am out of anyone's camp. You know that I don't give a shit about my nation. I respect my parents roots but I don't care about any nation or country as such hehe. I just think that there must be neutral view. Nobody's perfect, be it Denmark, USA or Croatia.

OK, taken to notion. But wait a minute, no big hate from me toward America pedro. It's not that. I just take more neutral way and balanced view. We cannto deny that America is number one but by international law - everyone's equal. That is my maxime, if anyone wants to be above someone else, he is breaking a law.
So not going for a someone's else's oil even if we talk about 5 gallons or I don't know how much. The reason that I involved America into this was nothing special, any country in the world has something bad & good, nobody is perfect!

I try to look at everything. That Dane went a little bit over the top so I just returned the backhand, nothing else.

Nobody can just like that escape and offend anyone as you said an expect that fire would be not returned.

So I didn't do this bit about America just for a kick. I cannot remember anything to offend the Danes. lol

From me peace, don't want a flame war.

SBD Dauntless, early war, US Navy Dive Bomber.
I loved this aircraft also, one of the first models kits I put together. It might have been a Snap-On [:)]
