Bummer - I was just about ready to buy TOAW III this weekend, but after following these download issues all day, I don't want to chance it if I'm going to end up paying for something this weekend that I can't actually download and use this weekend.  :(
Try downloading the patch, you may be able to, I think it's an IE issue, and something that happened to my PC recently, since I downloaded the patch right after it was released, just to verify it was working.

You're right - the patch downloaded seamlessly for me (via Firefox).

UPDATE: TOAW3 purchased and downloaded successfully as well. :)

ok, I gave up on the ftp.. buggered me too much! I did try the above #1 as well.. so I joined the server gamespot and dl. thanks ralph, looks greeat btw.
One quick ?.. formerly I could dl my oponenets pbem games, then simply say "open with" TAOW3 and I was up and running. now this blashes a super quick, almost impossible to see black screen and goes to desktop. The files can be opened by launching the game, and then sellecting them but this is very time consuming, what is up Ralph?

Darn, I didn't intentionally break that. I'll put some dialog boxes in and see what's up
