Interesting to note that Hero Honda did not land troops.  From the size of the force that he has stacked up against Melbourne (not enough to win the day) I am starting to think that he does not have the numbers to extend any further.
I can't say the same for darwin which is doomed.[:(]

Do you think Oz is doomed ? What do you think he'll do, keep lots of troops there ? just leave a few Naval guards units in south east australia an concentrate bulk of troops in Darwin area because it is much more vital for Japan ? I don't know if you can speak freely since it is a joint AAR, but it is an interesting scenario...

While there is some form of resistance he will have to station a number of troops in Oz.  Melbourne is somewhat safe as i said as he has not committed the correct number of troops required to win the day.  To take Queensland he would need to have at least 15 divisions to win.  I need to hold as long as possible while I contiune to ferry troops to NZ.  NZ is my jump-off point to retake OZ.

My problem is that if I DO loose Oz he will have shitloads of troops to defend all of the Islands in the pacific such as the Marshalls etc etc etc.

Darwin is doomed. Melbourne is doomed. Queensland is...doomed. Did it ever occur to you there was no transports 'cause it was a raid, lol? A good one, at that. I do belive you are getting some ships to NZ, some I sink, some slip through, but of those that were sunk none were ferrying troops.
You know I find rather hard to concentrate on writing with your avatar stalking me (or viceversa, I don't know)!

I'm a bit dissapointed with Tojos. They were of the oroginal 9 from the begginig conserved for exactly this purpose od efending a base but all but 2 were shot down while caliming 4, without even managing to engage the bombers. Oh well, I guess in numbers they will do better.

Looks to me that things are on the improve in India.  This just goes to show you that I am not willing to simply fade into the night.  I still have the ability to give you a good turkey slap when you are not expecting it and is simply a sign of things to come.

So I can safely say that due to hero Honda's ineptitude the PI still in my hands.  He has not been able to make the final push and so here we are in mid '42 and I am still sitting pretty.[:)]
