Weird Weapons II: The Shoulder-Mounted Mortar

Now, THIS is NOT in the game, but apparently the US Army & Marines actually tried this at one time. After several dislocated shoulders and broken arms during testing, the idea was wisely discontinued. [8|]

I DID see the name of this thing in one of my USMC references, but there were no pictures of it. Since it was never deployed in combat, it's a moot point.

Here's one that used to be in the USMC OOB for a long time: the Grenade Disc. Any ideas?

Flashfyre, that was simply a different designation for the Rifle Grenade (i.e., Grenade Discharger). [;)]

By the way it was named (no "." at the end to indicate an abbreviation), it drove a lot of people crazy trying to find out what it was.

That's another reason why we used real weapon names in the Enhanced Mod revisions.

Somehow, I can just picture a 60mm set to someone's shoulder... I won't say who though!
