Patches and other questions

I notice that AGEOD has patches for the game going up to 1.11 or some such.

I got my copy from Matrix just 2 days ago. Real life rudely intruded yesterday so I didn't get a chance to really look but I don't recall any version notation on any screen in the opening ones. What version is my Matrix copy and do the patches from AGEOD fit (sure hate to have it turn out like an Airbus)?

Another thing I recall from some time back is a discussion of the cause and the fix of a somewhat mushy mouse pointer...didn't see/couldn't find it here. Anybody know to what I refer.

Hi,

All AGEod versions are fully compatible. You don't have to worry about your current version when applying a patch.
FYI, the version is displayed in the low right corner during the loading of the game.

The harware cursor is an option offered in the AGE setting utility. It allows to fix a sluggish mouse anoyance encountered by few players (hardware issue).

If you don't want to follow the AGEOD Forums, I am tracking patch status/link in the sticky above of useful links. I update and bump it anytime there is new patch. So, you could just subscribe to that thread if you are too busy to check forums all the time.
