Allied Player wanted - Closed - found an opponent

I'm looking 4 an allied player to play either the Big B Mod or Iron Storm II. I'm interested in checking out the new air combat routines in Big B but also really like the fantasy setting for Iron Storm II. I normally kick out 3-5 turns per week.

House rules are negotiable. I really want to keep the Advanced Weather turned off tho (in a previous game I watched it rain for 30 days and 30 nights with no Ark in site).

I've played 3 games with two of my oponnents dropping out. I've never gone past June of 42. [:(]

btw, I prefer 2 day turns as the game moves a lot faster...

I just started a game with Cpt. Sherwood running a Big B mod. I've played Iron Storm II up to June of 1942 before the person I was playing with quit. I think it's a very cool mod and you will have a great time with it. Unfortunately, two games is my limit right now.

If you get a vacancy at any point please keep me in mind. There do not seem to be many people interested in these mods even though they have a very slight JFB bias. When you answered my initial queries about IS-II a couple of months ago I was tempted to PM you asking about a game but did not want to pester you - if I had, perhaps I would have been able to take over from the other opponent.

I will most certainly do that. While I hope not to lose my two current opponents I know that things do happen and these are very long games that require a strong committment to complete.

Right now at work, we are extremely understrength in my department. The good news is that management swears they plan to address the shortages "soon." So if I get to a point where the overtime coverage slacks off (in real life I don't expect real movement in my department until July or August) I will definately PM you. I really-really like the Iron Storm II mod - I don't know why more people aren't playing it. Alikchi went to a lot of work on the history behind that mod - and it was very fun to play from my perspective (Japanese).
