Richard Sharpe grows impatient

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

Thread title being what it is and all, I just have to guess it is "over the hills and far away" [:)]

Perhaps the 95th could check on it for us....

Yeah, I have pretty much put this game out of mind now for many months. It and Combined Arms are stuffed in my mental closet under a pile of dirty clothes.[:(]

At least Guns of August "looks" like it is approaching completion. Oh God let it be so. I have anticipated that game for almost five years now.[:(]

I know. I was excited when I saw it listed a few years ago as I have an interest in The Great War. It does seem like it is coming along.

This is the other one I keep waiting on. And, then it happens. Matrix releases a game..looks good, so I buy it, then another and another. Then the wife sighs and says..."Another one? Don't you have enough games?" [;)]

Impatient?
I would be impatient if I was still waiting for some news or screenshots or ..... anything, but with nothing for nearly 6 months I don't hold out much hope for this ever being released.Checking in after 2 months and the only posts are people wondering what's going on,if this is the pre-game anticipation build up what's the post release support going to be like?

Yeah How is it that they don't notice the 8 months of every year that there are no games worth buying;^)?

Blame those pesky terrorists! AFAIK the developer spends his tour of duty in Iraq.
