I don't know the intended figures, but as a guess I think that it is about 10 soldiers to a German squad and 50 for the Russians [&:]

I don´t think so. I had casulties at about 2040 men and the battleresult says I have lost 34 squads. 34 x 60 men is 2040. so I think 1 squad is about 60 men.

German official full strength division had some 17k men during early war and 10k during late war. In the game full strength division has 243? squads which makes 70-40 men per squad. 40 men is truly a platoon already.

Some guy has calculated actual combat strengths which would make some 16-8 men per squad for germans which is actually wise. Then the division would only show it's front line rifle squads.

For Russians the line squad calculation would make 13 men per squad (using 250 squads per full division).

For game purposes the break down of men for losses is:

SQUADS = 50 men
GUNS = 20 men
AFV'S = 10 men
A/C = N/A
