Allied or japanese green-greenhorn found

Im interested in playing PBEM against human. As Im not very experienced yet, I would like to play with someone who will not crush me in early 1942 [:D]

I would like to play as Japan (It will be first time as Japan to me), so i will do many, many, many mistakes as industry handling is a "spanish village" for me now, so a rookie will be the best sollution for me (and also for him) to learn on mistakes.

Game version: I will look at it as soon as possible. No mod.
Scenario: Great campaign: 7/12/1942-?
7th december surprise on

House rules I have thinked about(but disputable):
1. No 4E bombers under 10,000ft except for ASW/Search missions (exception possible for one formation at time)
2. No Level bombers under 5,000ft except for ASW/Search missions (exception possible for few(1-3) formation at time)
3. No Skip bombing before jan 43
4. Japanese sub doctrine off (maybe?)
5. ASW TF's. No more than 6 ships allowed. No Admirals allowed to command.
6. No Corsair's allowed on US CV's until 1/44. Except for transport missions.
7. No withdrawl of Allied LCU's from Malaya, Phillipines, or Dutch East Indies. Until Singapore, Manila, Palembang, Batavia, or Soerabaya is under LCU attack.
10. PT boats may not be combined with any other type ship. Except when transfering to another base. Max 6PT per TF.

Seriously. If this is your first game against a human, you really should do it as the allies. This is not the same game you played against the AI and the learning curve is more forgiving as the allies. 1 mistake by Japan and you have serious problems. 2 mistakes and you are done.

That is truth.. ) Ive made a huge amount of mistakes even as allies
that is the cause i wanted greenie for allies so my mistakes as japan wouldnt be as deadly as it would be against skilled allied player )

Of course I can play as Ally, if somene wants to play japan ...

I will echo Yamato hugger, even making many mistakes as the Allies, your main power comes later in the game. This means the allied player has a chance to learn on the job. OJT anyone?

Hi Barb,
I may take Japanese against you if you haven't found an opponent yet. Never really played this side, just tried to plan turn one many times. Overhelming task indeed. I would like to play BigB mod, definitely not a stock. House rules to be agreed. What do you think?

Hi:  I'm new at Witp, too.  (never been Japan but have played  full campaign once as allies against AI.  Beat it fairly rapidly). I'll play as the allies if you wish.  I don't know about all your "house rules" though.  If you are still needing an opponent and interested, let me know and we can discuss.
