Ops, it got late last night and i forgot to report one issue in the bugs category.

Academies now train the ratings of a player's military groups; each Academy trains one military group in each of the May turns. Groups with lower ratings are trained before groups with higher ratings. No rating may be trained to be higher than Good.

Ok, in all 3 games each academy trains 2 units in command rating and non in logicstic's ratings per turn. That intended? if i read between the lines it seems it should train 1 unit in each of the 2 ratings.
2ndly i found that in 62 they trained in both may turns, but come 63 and non got trained in either of the may turns but once in one of the june or july turns.
Too booth it was different in the 3 games i've played so far in 63. Shifting in turns to train, in one there was no training at all in 63 ending the game in nov 63.

Ok, good to know. Ill have to say then, i've only ever seen it train command and never logistic's rating. So there might be an issue there.

Do u have any idea why i get containers trained in june / july and not in may and some times not at all?

I have an update on this now.

i have now seen it, upgrading logisitic rating. The reason i didnt see it before was that since it upgrades the lowest stats and logistic is higher then command it had to upgrade alot of command before equaling the ratings and start on some logistic.

Please correct me here, but as i understand it. Its suppose to work in the way that it should upgrade in both the early and late may turns each year. No randomness on this.

Note tho that each academy trains 2 times. There are 2 academies in Vermont. They also did that in my first game, when they did train in both of may turns of 62.

They are each supposed to train twice each -- we're still trying to balance out the cost/effect of Academies, so let us know if you think they're too powerful/weak expensive/cheap.  It does seem that the date in which they train is off.  Thanks!

Just to confuse u in the bug finding. I've just seen upgrades in both of june turns.
So apart from the off dates i've seen upgrades in 1 turn a year and some times 2 turns a year.


Assuming you get upgrades in both of may turns and 2 times per academy. My initial impression is that, that is about right in cost / benefit. I dont think. if any. it should take much more tweeking, but since i mainly have played US side. I wouldnt mind hearing from someone playing CSA side.
In some regards June might be a better choice than May. It gives a buffer to build some Academies, in a scn starting in November. Question is ofc should ppl have that buffer.
Might have been one of the reasons u chose May.
