Injury time

Eckstein SS- out with minor leg injury-estimated recovery 6 days--now out for 5 weeks and still shows recovery time of 6 days ????

The only time that's happened to me is when I keep playing the player.  It seems if he's not sitting on the bench he's not healing, even if he just pinch hits.  I've also noticed that even if I put in my managerial tendencies do not play with minor injuries or worse my manager will play him anyway.
