It isn't and never has been - not even I'm that dumb!![:'(]

the other port along the coast between Archangel and where you did land was for a couple of turns tho - that might have been awkward but it's too late now [8D]

where's your reserves Larry??!! :)

No, see, you don't understand. My reserves were destroyed in turns 1 and 2. I don't have any reserves left anywhere on the map.

Axis turn 11

Post by Zort »

Well Larry has pulled wayyyyyy back. Therefore my casualties even though they are high, they are managable. I haven't lost any units. Whereas with SMK I am expending HRS like they were bird feed. I now have to try to save the guys that he has surrounded because he has been killing my regts. I think due to stupid things I have done and good things that he has done I have lost between 6-8 regts.

Lessons learned. 1. Know how to dig in HQs vice putting them in tactical. 2. You have to rest your guys or they eventually just evaporate. 3. Figure out a way to nuke the little guys!!! (attacked a rr repair guy with air and a regt repeatedly and lost repeatedly....enough of my whining).

Larry - I have broken through his line in the center/south of smolensk. He has enough to pull back and I think hold me for a few more turns. If I can get across the Luga river he will be sucking up in Leningrad.

SMK - I think he has about 150 units less on the board then Larry, I think I have finally hurt a bunch that they won't be counterattacking me as much his next turn. (I just finished turn 12 here and he did counterattack a lot on turn 11, I lost 3 regts, wait to you see my losses on turn 12). Even though I have lost alot I think he has lost much more so when his divs start coming in (reconstituted) he will see a rapid reduction in his rifle squads.

I took Kiev in both games this turn.

The air war: I am seeing a 10-1 loss ratio, in my favor, from the report but I figure it's closer to 3-1.

Yeah, and even with the 12 extra units I still have a devil of a time building a defensive line properly.
