I routinely have a remaining slot in the lower torso of my designs. Am I the only one who snickers immaturely as he sticks a laser in the titan's nether regions, just for the heck of it?

If you add components that you can't use, remember that you are still repairing the non-used parts after a battle (when they get damaged). If money is an issue, don't add unnecessary equipment. Otherwise, you're just paying extra for something that isn't used.

I will sometimes put small lasers in extra slots in hopes that they will take critical hit damage instead of something that I need more.
