Starshatter 4.0 virtual cockpit?

I've given up on Starshatter 5.0 for a while and I'm back to 4.0. The eye candy in 5.0 is sweet, but there are some technical issues that make me enjoy 4.0 more.

The same key (Shift+F1) is in both Starshatter 4.0 and 5.0. In 5.0, it seems to work: there's a cool virtual cockpit (though the light reflections are different colors than the cockpit lights, oddly).

The question: Is there a virtual cockpit mode in Starshatter 4.0? If so, how do you get it to work, since the Shift+F1 keys don't seem to do anything (and they don't seem to be remappable)?

Incorrect! Virtual cockpit was already in Starshatter 3 but only in Stormhawk. Starshatter 4 has support for virtual cockpits but there are none available unless modded in.
