AP Load Out

Post by fleetwood »

I have been preparing turn one as Japaneese player, going around loading troops on AP's. I have roughly doubled the TF capacity over the infantry load outs to get supplies. I suppose I was not paying attention, but when almost complete I noticed many divided units or task forces with no roof for supplies. Question: I found some units say the load factor for AP is, say, 800, but when you actually load the unit it takes much more capacity. Is this a bug, or what am I missing?

Welcome Fleetwood!
You’re missing the connection between unit size and AP load capacity. AP’s come in different denominations and you must have enough total lift capacity to do the job, or the unit to be loaded will be automatically split into a smaller unit. When you load a combat unit, the AP’s in a TF will be listed with the percentage of that unit that your amphib’s can carry.
